Are Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev Married?

The pair finally walked down the aisle during a lavish destination wedding in Paris, France, in August 2022. However, rumors began circulating that the two never made their union legal.

“We’re legally married in France and in the United States,” the Total Divas alum told Us Weekly on January 24, 2023, dispelling any speculation to the contrary. “I think because we have our [marriage records] confidential … people went and searched and they didn’t find it.”

Are Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev Still Together?

Yes, and they’re still going strong! Nikki reflected on their “amazing” new chapter as husband and wife.

“What I like is it just officially made us a family,” the Total Bellas star gushed. “We kind of already lived the married life in a way, and because we have Matteo we already share life, but it’s just kind of neat. I guess more so for me because my last name’s different. Now I’m Nicole Chigvintsev, and that was a huge change for me.”

How Many Kids Do Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev Have?

Nikki gave birth to their only child, son Matteo, on July 31, 2020. As far as if baby No. 2 is in their future, the couple is still unsure.

On one hand, the Incomparable author “would love to have two kids” in a “dream” world, but she’s uncertain about going through pregnancy again. “I’m kind of, like, a one-and-done [person],” she admitted.

As for Artem, he is open to the idea, gushing that “two is better than one,” but he understands that he wouldn’t be the one doing the heavy lifting. “If it happens, you know, like, two kids, boom, it’s too great. Let’s do it,” he explained to Us. “[But] I’m not carrying [the child] for nine months, so it’s not really my decision to make.”

That being said, the Russia native admitted he doesn’t know “what it’s gonna look like with two” because of their hectic schedules.

“I don’t know if a lot of parents can relate, but I mean, it’s challenging to have one kid, especially if you [are] full-time committed to what you do,” he continued. “And for us, specifically, like, our jobs are not in one location. It’s tough to figure it out that process because you also want to be a big part of [your child’s life].”
