Actress Isabel May wears plenty of clothing to portray Elsa Dutton on the Yellowstone prequel 1883. But under all of those Western period costumes, she has an absolutely stunning bikini body that she loves to show off!
Fans of 1883 also know her voice well, as she narrates the series in addition to portraying the eldest daughter of James and Margaret Dutton, played by Tim McGraw and his real-life wife, Faith Hill. Director Taylor Sheridan was so impressed by Isabel that he created the character of Elsa for her.
“I auditioned for a different project for Taylor [Sheridan], and found myself in the very, very lucky position in which he came to me after saying, ‘No, you’re not getting that other role,’ and said, ‘But, I’ve written one for you,’” she revealed on “The Bingeworthy Podcast” in May 2022.
Izzy only had one audition, and it blew the Yellowstone creator away. “But yeah, that was my introduction into the show was basically Taylor saying, ‘Hey, come on in here.’”
The young star is a familiar face to TV audiences for her wide range of roles. She had the recurring part of Veronica Duncan on the CBS hit Young Sheldon from 2018 through 2020, while at the same time starring in the leading role of Katie Cooper on Netflix’s teen comedy Alexa and Katie.
Isabel has another life-changing role in the works, as she’s landed the role of Jayna in the upcoming DC Comics film Wonder Twins. The characters were part of the Saturday morning cartoon Super Friends before being introduced in the comic books.
“I’d never heard of them, to be honest. And I’m someone who is more of a Japanese Anime/Manga lover myself. I could talk all day about that, but not necessarily Marvel or DC Comics,” Isabel revealed on the podcast, adding, “I don’t want to lie – it’s just the truth, but I have learned everything there is to know about the Wonder Twins now. What I’m thrilled about – I guess I can’t really say anything, but I think [the approach] is really unique and fun.”
In the meantime, Izzy keeps her Instagram page filled with her fun and fashionable personal life, which includes wearing lots of bikinis!
