When it debuted at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the Centenario housed the most powerful engine ever built by Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini. The Centenario, in both its styling and engineering, was meant to explore new mechanical and aesthetic possibilities for future vehicles. Constructed almost entirely out of carbon fiber, the Centenario’s exotic design incorporated unique aerodynamic elements like double splitters at the front and six splitters in place of a traditional rear bumper. It also included innovative technical features like rear-wheel steering for the first time on a Lamborghini vehicle.
